Hey, I'm not trying to get into this too deeply or anything, because I don't know exactly what started it other than a list of words, but if you don't want to use all the "role play special" words, then you could just leave them out of your post and let otehrs do as they want with them.
Would that I could leave them out of my posts, but when the alternative is to write a one page reply, it's not much of a choice is it?

Though, I can say that some of those words are shortened variations of actual words that are accurate. Audit is short for auditive or auditory, meaning of or relating to hearing. So it isn't entirley wrong in context. It's like writing OK instead of okay. Others are being used almost like antonyms(sp?). When a horse carries it's tail up it resembles a banner, therefore inheriting the descriptive word, banner.
Yes, to say "she learned a lot via auditory means" is a perfectly acceptable sentence. No argument there. But audit is not a word that has anything to do with hearing. It's like me taking the "rev" from the word "revolution," turning it into "revelation" and saying that it still means revolution. Doesn't work. At all. Banner. Banner makes sense in the context: "And in the teasing summer wind, the horses' tails flew like banners." When the word tail is clearly mentioned to give the reader understanding and reference. But if I was to pick up a book and read, "there were massive wind-created knots in the mare's banner," it would not make any sense. See what I mean?

Wait a second, so this entire thread was based on the rule of how long you have to post without using the "RP lingo" stuff? Isn't that a bit pointless? Why don't you just come to a compromise? How about a set word limit for no matter how you role play, it would be a lot less complicated and suit everyones needs, wants, and opinions. It can't get much simpler than that. Besides, all the arguing could turn off potential members, so quitting this whole argument soon would be better for everyone.

No, that's merely an aspect of it. Here's the whole thing in a nutshell: London RPs with nonexistant words or words that are used in the improper context. To make matters worse, she insults those with a different point of view than hers, and also discourages the correct form of RPing by making all non-fancy word posts a page long. If she backed off a bit from her stubborn cling to nonsensical grammar and words, we wouldn't have this problem.
